## Page 1 The Himachal Pradesh Subordinate Courts Typists (Grant of License, Registration and Control) Rules, 2001 ## Page 2 HIGH COURT OF HIMACHAL PRADESH, SHIMLA - 171001 No. HHC/Rules.22(31)/84 Dated 01.06.2001 NOTIFICATION The Hon'ble the Chief Justice and Judges of the High Court of Himachal Pradesh in exercise of the powers vested in them under Section 29 of the Himachal Pradesh Courts Act, 1976 and all other powers enabling hereunto are pleased to make the following Rules regulating the grant of license, Registration and Control of Typists engaged to work in the premises of the Subordinate Courts:- These Rules may be called "The Himachal Short Title 1 Pradesh Subordinate Courts Typists (Grant of License, Registration and Control) Rules, 2001." They shall apply to the Typists engaged in typing 2 Extent work in the Subordinate Court premises in the State of Himachal Pradesh. Commencement 3 They shall come into force with immediate effect. In these Rules, unless there is anything contrary Definitions 4 or repugnant in the subject or context: (a) 'Chief Justice' means the Chief Justice of the High Court of Himachal Pradesh; (b) 'Civil District' or 'District' means a Civil District or District as defined under Section 2 (a) of the Himachal Pradesh Courts Act, 1976. (c) 'District Judge' means the District Judge of a District as defined in Section 2 (b) of the Himachal Pradesh Courts Act, 1976.
