In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (d) of sub-section (2) of section 63, read with sub-section (1) of section 14, of the Competition Act; 2002 (12 of 2003), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules regulating the salary and allowances payable to, and other terms and conditions of service of, Chairperson and Members of the Competition Commission of India, namely: 1_ Short title and commencement. (1) These rules may be called the Competition Commission of India (Salary, Allowances and other Terms and Conditions of Service of Chairperson and other Members) Rules, 2003. They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2 requires, Definitions.
