BE it enacted by the Legislative Assembly of the State of Tamil Nadu in the Sixty eighth Year of the Republic of India as follows:- This Act may be called the Tamil Nadu Marine Fishing Regulation (Amendment) Amendment Act, 2017 In section 1 of the Tamil Nadu Marine Fishing Regulation (Amendment) Act, 2016 (hereinafter referred to as the Amendment Act) for sub -section (2), the following sub-section shall be substituted, namely:- "(2) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification, appoint and different dates may be appointed for different provisions of the Act." In section 5 of the Amendment Act, for clause (1), the following clause shall be substituted, namely:- "(1) In sub-section (3), for the expression "three nautical miles" in three places where it occurs, the expression "five nautical miles" shall be substituted."
