GOVERNMENT OF WEST BENGAL LEGISLATTVE DEPARTMENT West Bengal Act I of 1978 THE WEST BENGAL HOMOEOPA THIC SYSTEM OF MEDICINE (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1978. [Passed by the West Bengal Legislature: [Assent of the Governor was first published in the Calcutta Gazette, Extraordinary, of the 2Oth March, 1978.] 2Oth March; 1978.] An Act to amend the West Bengal Homoeopathic System of Medicine Act; 1963. West Ben. Act XXXIIof WrEREAS it is expedient to amend the West Bengal Homoeopathic 1963, System of Medicine Acl; 1963, for the purpose and in the manner hereinafter appearing; It is hereby enacled in the Twenty-ninth Year of the Republic of India, by the Legislature of West Bengal, as follows: 1. This Act may be called the West Bengal Homoeopathic Short title System of Medicine (Amendment) Act, 1978. 2. In the West Bengal Homoeopathic System of Medicine Insertion of new section Act; 1963 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), after section 15, 1SA in West the following section shall be inserted: _ Ben: Act XXXIIof "Ad-hoc 15A.(T) Notwithstanding anything contained elsewhere 1963 Committee, in this Act; if, at any time, it appears to the State Government that the nomination OT election to the Council has not taken place in accordance with the provisions of this Act O a period of more than four years from the date of the first meeting of the Council has elapsed, the State Government may, by order published in the Official Gazette, appoint an Ad-hoc Committee consisting of not more than seven members including a President and Vice- President. (2) Upon such appointment of the Ad-hoc Committee, the Council shall be deemed to have been dissolved, and all the members of the Council shall be deemed to have vacated their offices, with effect from the date of the order: The West Bengal Homoe
