GOVERNMENT OF WEST BENGAL LEGISLATTVE DEPARTMENT West Bengal Act XX of 1980 THE WEST BENGAL HOMOEOPATHIC SYSTEM OF MEDICINE (SECOND AMENDMENT) ACT; 1980. [Passed by the West Bengal Legislature_ [Assent of the Governor was first published in the Calcutta Gazette, Extraordinary, of the 26th April, 1980.] [26th April, 1980.] An Act t0 amend the West Bengal Homoeopathic System of Medicine Act; 1963. West Bcn_ Act XXXIII of 4963 WHEREAS it is expedient to amend the West Bengal Homoeopathic System of Medicine Act, 1963, for the purpose and in the manner hereinafter appearing; It is hereby enacted in the Thirty-first Year of the Republic of India, by the Legislature of West Bengal, as follows: 1: This Act may be called the West Bengal Homoeopathic System Short title_ of Medicine (Second Amendment) Act, 1980. 2. For section 25 of the West Bengal Homoeopathic System of Amendment Medicine Act; 1963,the following section shall be substituted: of section 25 of West Ben_ 'Relention. 25. (1) Every person whose namehas been entered Aci XXXIII of 1963, in the Register before the commencement of the West Bengal Homoeopathic System of Medicine (Second Amendment) Act, 1980 shall, for the retention ofhis name in the Register, pay to the Council such retention fee and within such period as may be prescribcd, (2) Where tlie retention fee is not paid within the prescribed period, the Registrar shall remove the name of the defaulter from the Register: Provided that a name s0 removed may be restored to the Register on such conditions as may be porescribed (3) On payment of tle retention fee, the Registrar shall, in the prescribed manner, endorse the certificate of registration.' 81
