GOVERNMENT OF WEST BENGAL LEGISLATIVE DEPARTMENT West Bengal Act I of 1980 THE WEST BENGAL HOMOEOPATHIC SYSTEM OF MEDICINE (AMENDMENT) ACT; 1980. [Passed by the West Bengal Legislature:] [Assent of the Governor was first published in the Calcutta Gazette, Extraordinary; of the 27th March, 1980.] [27th March, 1980.] An Act to amend the West Bengal Homoeopathic System of Medicine Act; 1963. West Ben_ Act XXXIII of 1963. WHEREAS it is expedient to amend the West Bengal Homoeopathic System of Medicine Act, 1963, for the purpose and in the manner hereinafter appearing; It is hereby enacted in the Thirty-first Year of the Republic of India, by the Legislature of West Bengal, as follows: 1. This Act may be called the West Bengal Homoeopathic System Shorttitle of Medicine (Amendment) Act; 1980. 2_ In section 1SA of the West Bengal Homoeopathic System of Amendment Act; ofsection Medicine 1963 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), in sub ISAof West section (10), for the words for a further period of eighteen months" , the Ben Act words *for a further shall be substituted and shall be XXXIHIof period of two years 1963_ deemed always to have been substituted. West Ben_ Ord. XIV of 1979 3 (1) The West Bengal Homoeopathic System of Medicine Repeal and (Amendment) Ordinance, 1979, is hereby repealed savings (2) Anything done or any action taken under the principal Act as amended by the West Bengal Homoeopathic System of Medicine (Amendment) Ordinance, 1979, shall be deemed to have been validly done or taken under the principal Act as amended by this Act as if this Act had commenced on the 27th day of November; 1979.
