. :1 . (1) Where parties to a dispute appronch the Gram Panchnyat or as the case may be, the Zilla Pnnchayat for settlement of dispute , then the Gram Panchayat or the Zilla Panchayut may settle such dispute if any law in force . permits such settlement outside courts.
