In the Principal Act , in section 29:- — THE SIKKIM PANCHAYAT ACT, 1993

11 . In the Principal Act , in section 29:- (i) after clause (d) , the following clause shall be inserted namely:- " (e) any member of Gram Panchayat being a member of any political party, if ceases to be the member of that political party , shall cease to be the member of Gram Panchayat from the same day he ceases to be the member of that political party " . (ii) SUb-section "(4)" shall be omitted;
