The Registrar shall have the power to authenticate records on behalf of the University and shall exercise such other powers and perform such other duties as may be prescribed or may be required from time to time, by the Chancellor or the Vice-Chancellor. The Registrar shall be responsible for the due custody of the records and the common seal of the University and shall be bound to place before the Chancellor, the Vice-Chancellor or any other authority, all such information and documents as may be necessary for transaction of their business.
