(PLANNING DEPARTMENT) (Directorate of Economics & Statistics) and Office of Chief Registrar of Births & Deaths) NOTIFICATION Delhi, the 22 nd June, 2000 No. F..5/VS/DES/2000/9199-409.- In exercise of the power conferred by section 30 of the Registration of Births and Deaths Act, 1969 ( 18 of 1969), the Lt. Governor of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, with the approval of the Central Government, hereby makes the following rules to amend the Delhi Registration of Births and Deaths Rules, 1999 , namely:- RULES Short title, extent and commencement: (i) These rules may be called the Delhi Registration of Births and Deaths (Amendment) Rules, 2000. (ii) They extend to the whole of the National Capital Territory of Delhi (iii) They shall come into force at once. Amendment of Form No, 2:-In Delhi Registration of Births & Deaths Rules, 1999 (hereinafter referred to as the "Principal Rules"), in Form No.2, (relating to Death Report), after the entry at Sr. No. 2, the following entries shall be inserted namely:- “2A. Name of Father/Husband of deceased” Amendment of Form No.6. – In the Principal Rules , in Form No.6 (relating to Death Certificate), after the entry titled "Name" and before the entry titled "Sex", the following entry shall be inserted, namely:- “Name of Father/Husband of deceased” By Order and in the name of the Lt.
