(l) Th-ese rules may be called the Gujarat scheduled Tribes @egulationof Issuance and Verification of Certificates) (Amendment) Rules,202l. (2) They shall come into force on the date of fficial Gazette. .of Issuance and publication of the notification inthe 2. In the Gujarat Scheduled Tribes (Regulation oflssuance and Verification of Certificates) Rules, 2020 (hereinafter referred to as "the said Rules"), in Rule 3, for sub-Rule (3)and sub-Rule(4), the following shall be substituted, namely:- "(3)(1) The applicant shall fumish the attested copies of the following documents along with his application for obtaining the Scheduled Tribe Certificate and shall produce the originals thereof on demand, by the Competent Authority, namely:- (i) Family Tree affirmed by Talati (starting from the greatgrand-father; (iD Light Bill/extract from the Aakaranee Register/Tax receip of residence/Aadhar Card/passport/driving license/ration card./voter's ID/Bank passbook. (2) The applicant shall also fumish attested copy of any one of the foltowing documents along with his application for obtaining the Scheduled Tribe Certificate and shall produce the originals thereof on demand, by the Competent Auttrority, namely:- (i) Documentary evidence in regard to Scheduled Tribe and place of permanent residence prior to the date of notification of such Scheduled Tribe Order; the tribe of the father or elderly Govemment or (iii) an extract of the Birtlr and Death m respeoI of applicant's father or grand-father or great or elderly blood relative (ii) an extraot of service record (book) mentioning applicant or his father or grand-father or great grand- blood relatives bom on the paternal side who are in any other service in any, mentioning Scheduled Tribe; from patemal side; (iv) extract of the Pn'mary School Admission Register of the applic?rnt's father or grand-father or great grand-fnther or elderly blood relative from patemal side;l (v) Sehool or great (vi) Scheduled Tribe Certificate in respect ofapplicantls father, or grand' father or great grand-father or elderly blood relative frotrrpatemal sidQ; (vii) validity certificate, ifany, ofthe father or any other erderlyrelatives from patemal side of the appllant grarrted by the ScrutinyCommittee; (viii) Revenue Record rike extract of7lr2, sare deed, Records ofrights lvirage form No.6) containing entries of 73AI73AA etc. or vilrage rancrruyit-R..o.a, if any." ..(4) .If the ap-plicant is unatre _to produce any one of the documents mentioned in clauses.of the-sub-Rule :fZl O to lviii;, ttre "ppfi"u"t rfiuff o"," reasons thereof on his affidavit ana ae-comp"t"of autnffi-*"y "orrria", the same and after conducting rr"t, "nquiry'* he deems fit, shall decide the claim on merit, provided A" "}pU"*ttL-iermanent place of residence prior to the date of notification orhis tribe in ttre'retevant priria""ti-"r-o.o-i..,, 3' In the said Rules, in Rule 10, for sub-rure (3), the following shalr be substituted, namely:- '(3) The applicant shar submit the following documents with his application for verification of the schedureo rriue certin-"ir" to the scrutiny committee, namely:- (a) Original documents:_ (i) An affidavit in Form E; (ii) Family Tree affirmed by Talati (starting from greatgrand_father).
