Act XXIII of 2014), and in supersession of the earlier rules made in this Tegard vidle Department's Notification Vo. [7-ILC' dated 15.01.2018. the Govemor is hereby pleased to make thc following revisedl rules: _ Rules' 1 Short tile and commencement: () Thesc' rules may be called the Neotia University Rules, 2018, (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Guzette. 2 Definitions:_ In these rules. unless the context otherwise require,- (a) "Act' means the Neotia University Act; 2014, (6) Administrator' means the Administrator appointed by thc State Government; by ordler for the purposes of the Act; (c) "Chairman means the Chairman of the Regulatory Committee constituted under these rules; (d) "(haneellor" means the Chancellor of the University: () "Committee" means the Regulatory Comittee constituted by the State Government; THE KOLKATA GAZETTE, EXTRAORDINARY, JANUARY 4, 2019 [PART [ (f) "endowment fund" means the endowment fund constituted in the manner prescribed under these rules; g 'professional course means the courses conducted in the University declared as such by Regulatory Body; (h) 'properties of the University" shall mean and include all properties movable or immovable.
