Rajasthan Forest (Settlement) Rules, 1958 Published vide Notification No. F. 23(135) Rev. A/58, dated 18.8.1958 (Published in Rajasthan Gazette, Part 4-C, dated 11.9.1958). In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 26A and 76 of the Rajasthan Forest Act; 1953 (Rajasthan Act No. XIII of 1953), the State Government hereby makes the following rules; namely: Part Preliminary 1. Short title and repeal: (1) These rules may be called the Rajasthan Forest (Settlement) Rules, 1958. (2) All rules corresponding to or covered by those rules shall stand repealed. 2. Definition: In these rules, unless the context requires otherwise: (1) "Act" means the Rajasthan Forest Act; 1953; (2) 'Form means a form appended to these rules; and (3) '[Deleted] 1 3.2 [Deleted] 3 4 [Deleted] Part II Demarcation & Survey 5.
