(1) This Act may be called the l[Tarnil Nadu Esrntes Communal, Forest and Private Lands (Prohi bition of Alienation) Act, 1947,

1. (1) This Act may be called the l[Tarnil Nadu Esrntes Communal, Forest and Private Lands (Prohi bition of Alienation) Act, 1947, (2) It extends tcj d all estates in the '[State of () Tanlil Nndu] goven~ed by tlie '[Tamil Nadit] Estates Land Act, 1908. It shall come into force at once. --
