[Authorised English Translation] HARYANA GOVERNMENT FOOD, CIVIL SUPPLIES AND CONSUMER AFFAIRS DEPARTMENT Notification The 23rd June, 2021 No. S.O. 33/C.A. 35/2019/S. 102/2021.— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) and Clauses (h) and (m) of sub-section (2) of Section 102 of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 (Central Act 35 of 2019), the Governor of Haryana hereby makes the following rules, namely:- Short title and commencement 1. (1) These rules may be called the Haryana Consumer Protection (Salary, allowances and conditions of service of President and Members of the State Commission and District Commission) Rules, 2021. They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the official gazette. Definitions Salaries and allowances payable to President of District Commission. (1) In these rules, unless the context otherwise requires, — (a) 'Act' means the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 (Central Act 35 of 2019); (b) 'Member' means the Member of the State Commission or the District Commission, as the case may be; (c) 'President' means the President of the State Commission or the District Commission, as the case may be; (2) The words and expressions used herein and not defined but defined in the Act shall have the same meaning respectively assigned to them in the Act. The President shall be entitled to,- (i) salary as is admissible to a District Judge at minimum of the Selection Grade (i.e. 57700-1230-58930-1380-67210-1540-70290) or revised from time to time in the State of Haryana.
