Short title and extent – (1) These rules may be called the 1[Tamil Nadu] Industrial

1. Short title and extent – (1) These rules may be called the 1[Tamil Nadu] Industrial Establishments (National and Festival Holidays) Rules, 1959. (2) They extend to the whole of the State of Madras including the territories specified in the Second Schedule to the Andhra Pradesh and Madras (Alteration of Boundaries) Act, 1959 (Central Act 56 of 1959).
