4. Subs. by Act 33 of 2014, s. 4, for “nineteen” (w.e.f. 1-1-2015). *. Vide Notifn . No. S.O. 3912(E), dated 30th October, 2019, this Act is made applicable to the Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir and the Union territory of Ladakh. (f) " very small establishment " means an establishment in which not more than nine persons are employed or were employed on any day of the preceding twelve months.
