Section 65
. Status and liability of person permitted to retain possession . —N —Notwithstanding anything contained in section 106, a person occupying any vacant land in contravention of the provisions of this Act shall, if permitted in writing by the landlord to retain possession of such land, become a hereditary tenant thereof and shall be liable to pay rent in accordance with the provisions of sections 63 and 64.
