Section 11
. Application for demarcation . — (1) If, at the commencement of this Act, the proprietor of a village or a part thereof or a specific area therein, was cultivating any land as khudkasht, he may, within six months of such commencement , apply to the sub-divisional officer for demarcation of such khudkasht a niji jot.

Application for demarcation . — (1) If, at the commencement of this Act, the proprietor of a village or a part thereof or a specific area therein, was cultivating any land as khudkasht, he may, within six months of such commencement , apply to the sub-divisional officer for demarcation of such khudkasht a niji jot.
(2) With his application, the applicant shall file a list, giving the area and survey number or other description of the khudkasht to be so demarcated and such other particulars as may be prescribed.
