. Landlord ' s power to charge irrigation dues . — If a landlord has constructed a tank, whether before or after the commencement of this Act, he shall, subject to the rules made by the Chief Commissioner, be entitled to charge irrigation dues from persons irrigating land from such tank, at such rates as may be prescribed.
