[Passed by the West Bengal Legislature.] [Assent of the Governor was first published in the Calcutta Gazette, Extraordinary, of the 30th August, 1952.] An Act to amend the West Bengal Evacuee Property Act, 1951. WHEREAs it is expedient to amend the West Bengal Evacuee Property Act, 1951, for the purpose and in the manner hereinafter appearing ; It is hereby enacted as follows :- 1. This Act may be called the West Bengal Evacuee Property (Amendment) Act, 1952. 2. In the proviso in Section 5 of the West Bengal Evacuee Property Act, 1951, for the words and figures "refer the case to the Minority Commission constituted under Notification No. 2276011/CR-481 /50, dated the 6th May, 1950, for advice" the words "refer the case for advice to the Minority Commission constituted for the time being by the State Government" shall be substituted and be deemed to have always been substituted.
