"4UY&v TFT4A, fai5 24 31TM 2015 692 (5) Bhopal, the 24th August 2015 No. F23-5/2011/35 In exercige of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 43 of the Prevention and Control of Infectious and Contagious Diseases in Animals Act; 2009 (No. 27 of 2009), the State Goverment; with the approval of the Central Government; hereby, makes the following rules, namely RULES 1. Short title and commencement. (1) These rules may be called the Prevention and Control of Infectious and Contagious Diseases in Animals (Check Post and quarantine camp, manner of inspection etc ) Rules, 2015. (2) They shall come into force from the date of their publication in2 the Madhya Pradesh Gazette. Definitions - (1) In these rules unless the context otherwise requires, (a) Act" means the Prevention and Control of Infectious and Contagious Diseases in Animals Act, 2009 (No. 27 of 2009); (b) Form means forms appended to these rules_ (c) "Section means sectior of the Act; (2) Words and expressions used but not defined in these rules shall have the same meaning as assigned to them in the Act. The manner of Inspectlon and the perlod of detention at quarantine camp and check post: 2- 3 (1) {n order to aseertain whether the animal is infected with any of the scneduled notified disease, the animal stopped at the check post 6r detained in the quarantine camp shall be inspected ~by the person in charge of check post o quarantine camp for the following namely (i) movement and gait; (ii) dull, depressed, normal or excited behaviour; (iii) increase in body temperature; (iv) ulcer in the mouth, feet or udder; (v) excessive lacrimation, nasal or vaginal discharge; (vi) sweating and shivering; (vii) dryness of the skin, alopecia, skin rashes; (viii) weakness; (ix) bleeding through natural openings; (x) swe
