(53) Parliamentary Affairs Department NOTIFICATION Jaipur, October 22, 1981 GSR 717n Exercise of the powers conferred by section 11 read with proviso to sub-section (4) of section 6A of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly (Officers and Members Emoluments and Pension) Act, 1956 (Rajasthan Act 6 of 1957), the State Government hereby makes the following rules, the #Rajasthan Legislative Assembly Officers (Concessions 0n account of Electricity and Water) rules, 1981, namely 1. Short title & commencement (1) These rules may be called the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly Officers (Concessions on account of Electricity and Water) Rules 1981. 2 Applicability:- These rules shall apply to the Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly and also to the Government Chief Whip, Deputy Government Chief Whip and the Leader of the Opposition, who are hereinafter referred to as the said Officers . 3 Concessions on account of electricty and water Nor purposes of sub-section (4) of section 6-A of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly (Officers and Members Emoluments and Pension) Act; 1956 (Rajasthan Act 6 of 1957), the said Officers shall be entitled to the concession of payment by Government for him and on his behalf throughout the term of his office and upto a period of two months from the date he ceases to hold such office, of all charges due from him on account of the consumption of electricity and water at his residence subject to the condition that concession of such payment shall not exceed the limit of 35,000# units of electricity and 50# lakhs litres of water per annum_ 4 Repeal.- The Rajasthan Legislative Assembly Officers (Concessions On account of Electricity and Water) Rules, 1965 are hereby repealed.
