## Page 1 (94) Department of Parliamentary Affairs Notification Jaipur, January 4, 1983 G.S.R. 101.-In exercise of the powers conferred by section 11 read with section 4-B of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly (Officers and Members Emoluments and Pension) Act, 1956 (Rajasthan Act 6 of 1957), the State Government hereby makes the following Rules, namely :- The Rajasthan Legislative Assembly (Member's Family Pension) Rules, 1983 1. Short title and commencement.-(1) These Rules may be called the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly (Member's Family Pension) Rules, 1983. (2) They shall be deemed to have come into force on the 22nd June, 1977. 2 Application for family pension.-An application for the grant of family pension, under these rules shall be made by the person entitled to such pension under *Section 4-(B) of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly (Officers & Members Emoluments and Pension) Act, 1956 to the Secretary, Legislative Assembly in Form I: Provided that on accepting any salaried post, the person shall not be eligible or entitled to be given the pension under these rules : Provided further that the person shall not be entitled and eligible for the pension under these rules if he/she remarries. 3 Scrutiny of application and issue of Family Pension Payment Order.-(1) On receipt of an application for the grant of family pension under these rules, the Secretary, Rajasthan Legislative Assembly shall determine, after such verification as he deems necessary, the eligibility or otherwise for the grant of family pension to the person claiming such pension under the Act. * M.
