Act LLX of 1980) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Governor is pleased hereby to make, after previous publication 2s required by sub-section (1) of section 600 of the said Act; the following amendments in the Kolkata Municipal Corporation Building Rules, 2009, published under this Department notification No. 4S0MMA/OIC-4/ 3R-8/2003, dated the 9th day of September; 2009 (hereinafter referred to as the said rules): _ Amendments In the said rules; (1) for rule 49,substitute the following rule: _ Nomenclature of Technical Personnel Minimum required qualification Geo-Technical Engineer (Class I) (A) For all classes of buildings of height 12.50 meter O more four storeyed and above shall associate in work a Geo-Technical Engineer (Class I) having & Post-graduate Degree in Geo-Technical Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent engineering qualification or membership recognized by the Government with at least five years' relevant experience in soil exploration, investigation and recommendation of types of foundation and execution of such work; or (B) for all classes of buildings of height 12.50 meter or more four storeyed
