THE MADHYA PRADESH GRAM PANCHAYAT (TERM OF OFFICE OF MEMBERS OF' STANDING COMMITTEE AND PROCEDURE FOR THE CONDUCT OF BUSINESS) RULES, 1994 [Notification No: 1512-2253-XXII-P-94, dated 16th September, 1994, pLblished in MP: Rajpatra, Extraordinary, dated I6th September; 1994,p: 1592 (2) (4)}.-In exercise of the zowers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 95 read with sub-section (3) of Section 46 of the Madhya Pradesh Panchayat Raj Adhiniyam , 1993 (No 1 of 1994), the State Government hereby makes the following rules, the same having been previously pub- lished as required by sub-section (3) of section 95 of the said Act, namely: 1. Short title.-These rules may be called the Madhya Pradesh Gram Panchayat (Term of Office of Members of Standing Committee and proce- dure for the Conduct of Business) Rules, 1994. 2. Definitions.-In these rules unless the context otherwise requires, (a) Act" means the Madhya P-adesh Panchayat Raj Adhiniyam_ 1993 (No. 1 of 1994); (b) "Section means a section of the Act. 3.
