Porvorim, 23rd October, 2013. (Published in the Official Gazette Series II No. 31 dated 31-10-2013) ______ Department of Education, Art & Culture Directorate of Education ______ Order No. DE/Adm.III/Estate Office/2013/561 Under the provisions of Goa Public Premises (Eviction of Unauthorized Occupants) Act, 1988 the Government is pleased to appoint the following officers indicated in column No. 2, as Estate Officers, for the respective region/area indicated in the third column of the order. This appointment is made, in order to safeguard and protect the Education Department land and buildings. The Principal of Government Higher Secondary School, Headmasters of Government High School, of all the Talukas are required to bring to the notice of the Estate Officers, any event of unauthorized occupation of Government buildings or land . The Estate Officers, in cognizance of the Act, initiate an appropriate legal action under the proviso of Goa Public Premises Act, 1988, against an agency/individual, for the breach of the provisions of the Act.
