928 t WHEREAS licences were grrinted by the [State P Government] on the 26th day of October 1928 to Mr. A. Asirvatham of tlie Self-Supporting Seventh Day Adventist Church for the Tamil country in the district of Tinnevelly to solemrtize marriages and to grant certificates of marriage between Indian Christians under sections 6 and 9 respectively of the Indian ChiiMiA1872 p Christian Marriage Act, 1872 ; AND WHEREAS on the 7th day of August 1933 the said licences were revoked by the said Government ; AND WHEREAS after the date of the said revocatiol~ the said Mr. Asirvatham corltinired to solen~nize marriages and to grant certificates of marriage up to and including the 15th day of Novenlbcr 1933 as if the said licences had not b:en revoked ; --
