Government of Rajasthan Urban Development Department | F.2(38/UDH/General/3/2014 Jaipur, Dated:- 2(Q AUG 2019). NOTIFICATION In exercise of the powers conferred under section 74 read with sections .43 and 60 of the Rajasthan Urban Improvement Act, 1959 (Act No. 35 of 1959), the State Government hereby makes the following rules, further to amend the Rajasthan Improvement Trust (Disposal of Urban Land) Rules, 1974 and orders with reference to proviso to sub-section 2 ofsection 74 of said Act, that previous publication of these iules is dispensed with as the State Government | considers that in the public interest; they should be brought into force at once namely:- Short title, extent and commencement.- (1) These rules may be called the Rajasthan Improvement Trust (Disposal of Urban Land) (Amendment) Rules, 2015... They shall come into force at once. 2s Amendment of rule 14-A.- The existing sub-rule (1) of rule 14-A of the Rajasthan Urban Improvement Trust (Disposal of Urban Land) Rules, 1974 shall be substituted, namely:- "(1) Ifa person who purchases the land through public auction for residential or commercial purposes, has not constructed a building within,,. (i) 3 years in case of plot size up to 1000 square meters; or Gi) 5. years in case of plot size more than 1000 square meters but up to 5000 square meters; or (iii) 7 years in case of plot size more than 5000 square meters, from the date on which possession of land is handed over, he shall pay levy at the rate of one percent per year of the present prevailing reserve price to the concerued trust up to three years and if building has still not been constructed, the lease of the land shall stand cancelled."
