34 Security deposit.-Thc Authority may demand such sum as security from an: consumer in connection with the supply of water or for sewer c:onnection as provided in the regulations: Provided that the Authority shall pay interest at such rates as the Government may fi om time to time determme on any sum sJ f)e1Jositcd with the Authority. · Fees -The Authonty may charge such fe{'s foi connectiOn, disconnection and rc·connectio·1 of any water ~upply o or sewer for testing or supervision or for any other service rendered or work executed or supervised as may be provided m the regulations Recovery of taxes,jees ~tid o other sums due- (I) Any ~um d due to the Authonty on account cf any tax, fee, cost of water, cost of collection and disposal of waste water, meter rent, penalty, damage or ,urcharge under this Act shall be recoverable as nre.us of land rLvcnue.
