WHEREAS it is expedient t0 amend the West Bengal Additional Tax ASSXIX ol and One-time Tax on Motor Vehicles Act; 1989, for the purposes and in the manner hereinafter appcaring; It is hereby enacted in the Forty-fifth Year of the Republic of India; by the Legislalure of West Bengal, as follows: 1. (1) This Act may be called the West Bengal Additional Tax and Short title One-time Tax on Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Act; 1994. and commence - (2) This section, clause (a) of section 8 and section 9 shall be deemed nent. to have come into force on the 17th day of August; 1994; and the remaining provisions of this Act shall come into force 0 such date a5 the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint: 2.
