R . 177(E) . -In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (15) of Section 6 of the Prevention of Money-Laundering Act, 2002 (15 of20(3), the Adjudicating Authority, in supersession of i the Adjudicating Authority Regulations , 2006 , except as respects things done or omitted to be done I ! I ! before such supersCflsion, hereby makes the following regulations regulating its procedure , namely :- CHAPTER 1 PRELIMINARY Short title and commencement . --(1)These regulations may be called the Adjudicating Authority (Procedure) Regulations, 2013. These regulations shall come into force on the date of their publication in the OfficialGazette . Definitions. -(1) Unless the context otherwise requires , -- (a) "Act" means the Prevention of Money-laundering Act , 2002 (15 of : 2003); . ' (b) " application" means an application filed under sub-section (4) of section 17 or sub-section (10) of section 18 of the Act and includes a :miscellaneous application; i (c) "Bench " means a Bench of the Adjudicating Authority constituted by :the Chairperson I of the Adjudicating Authority; ;(d) "complaint " means a complaint made under sub-section (5) of section 5 . of the Act; ~( ~(e) " Form" means a Form appended
