NOTIFICATION APPOINTING DIRECTOR OF ENFORCEMENT3 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub -section (1) of section 49 of the Prevention of Money-laundering Act, t, 2002 (15 of 2003), the Central Government hereby appoints, with effect from . the 1st day of July, 2005 , the Director of Enforcement holding office immediately before the said date under the Foreign Exchange Management Act, t, 1999 (42 of 1999) , as the Director [-0 exercise the exclusive powers conferred under section 5 , section 8, section 16 , section 17 , section 18 , section 19, section 20 , section 21 , sub-section (1) of section 26 , section 45 , section 50 , section 57, 4[section 58A, section 58Bl section 60, 0, section 62 and section 63 of the said Act and the said Director shall also concurrently exercise powers conferred by sub-section (3), sub-section (4) and sub-section (5) of section 26, 6, section 39 , section 40, 0, section 41, section 42 , section 48 , section 49 , section 66 and section 69 of the aforesaid Act .
