LAW AND JUDICIARY DEPARTMENT Madam Cama Marg, Hutatma Rajguru Chowk, Mantralaya, Mumbai 400 032 dated the 24th September 2014. NOTIFICATION CODE OF CRIMINAL PROCEDURE, 1973. No. PaDaNi-0714/C.R. 138/D-11.—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 7 read with sub-section (1) of section 9 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (2 of 1974), in its application to the State of Maharashtra and all other powers enabling it in this behalf; and in partial modification of all other earlier notifications issued in this behalf, in so far as they relate to the revenue talukas of Barshi and Karmala in Solapur District, the Government of Maharashtra directs, after consultation with the High Court of Judicature at Bombay hereby creates, with effect from the 27th day of September, 2014 a Sessions Division for the revenue talukas of Barshi and Karmala in Solapur District and establishes a Court of Session at Barshi, to be presided over by the Additional Sessions Judge, for trial of cases arising within the limits of the said sessions division. The Sessions Judge, Solapur shall also be the Sessions Judge for the Barshi Sessions Division and shall have the powers to withdraw unto himself or to assign to any other Court of competent jurisdiction, the cases from the said sessions division, or to assign unto the Additional Sessions Judge at Barshi, any such cases as he thinks fit :— List of Villages of Barshi Taluka List of Villages of Karmala Taluka By order and in the name of the Governor of Maharashtra, S.
