Official language of Local Authorities.— (1) The official language of all the Local Authorities in the State of Maharashtra shall be Marathi. Except the official purposes specified in subsection (2), Marathi shall be the language to be used for all official purposes as well as purposes related to the public interface and public interest in all offices of the Local Authority, including,–
