1- Revenue Department Notification RDIBLDG/77/69-[ In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 58 of the Goa, Daman and Diu Buildings (Lease, Rent and Eviction) Control Act; 1968, the Administrator of Goa, Daman and Diu hereby makes the following Rules, the same having been previously published, namely: The Goa, Daman and Diu Buildings (Lease, Rent and Eviction) Control Rules, 1969 1_ Short title and commencement. 1) These Rules may be called the Goa; Daman and Diu Buildings (Lease, Rent and Eviction) Control Rules, 1969. (2) They shall come into force at once. 2. Definitions: In these Rules, unless there is anything repugnan t to the subject or context; Act" means the Goa, Daman and Diu Buildings (L ease, Rent and Eviction) Control Act; 1968. cForm means form appended to these Rules. Section' means section of the Act_ (d) Words and expressions used, but not defined in these rules shall have the meaning assigned to them in the Act. 3_ Manner of giving notice under Section 4(2) of the Act and the particulars to be contained therein: The landlord shall give notice required under su b-section (2) of Section 4, in writing and it shall contain the particulars as specified in Form L The landlord may either personally hand it over to the Authorised Officer who shall give him receipt in writing, Or he may send it by registered post acknowledgement due to the Authorised Officer 4. Form of the order to be issued under Section 6(1)._ The Authorised Officer shall issue the order under sub-section (1) of Section 6, in the manner as specified in Form II 5. The manner 0f depositing rent under Section 18(1) and sending copy of the application under section 18(3).
