F.13(l)/VS/DES/2006 -In exercise of the powers conferred by section 30 read with clause (f) of sub-section 1 of section 2 of the Registration of Births and Deaths Act , 1969(18 of 1969) , the Lt . Governor of the National Capital Territory of Delhi , with the approval of the Central Government , hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Delhi Registration of Births and Deaths Rules . 1999 , namely :- RULES 1 . Short title , extent and commencement : - These rules may be called the Delhi Registration of Births and Deaths (Amendment) Rules , 2006 . They shall extend to the whole of the National Capital Territory of Delhi . They shall be deemed to come into force with immediate effect . 2 . (1) .Amendment of Form No . 1 -In the Delhi Registration of Births and Deaths Rules 1999 , (hereinafter referred to as the " Principal Rules , ") in Form No . 1 , after entry 5 . the following entries shall be inserted , namely :— " 5 A -Permanent Address of Parents; 5 B -Address of Parents at the time of birth of child."
