‍ 07 , , 1947 - 29 , 2025 RAJASTHAN GAZETTE Extraordinary Published by Authority Sravana 07, Tuesday, Saka 1947- July 29, 2025 4 () (I) ‍ (‍ ) ‍ Consumer Affairs Department NOTIFICATION Jaipur, July 28, 2025 G.S.R.49 . -Whereas, the draft of the Rajasthan Legal Metrology (Enforcement) (Draft Amendment) Rules, 2025, amending the Rajasthan Legal Metrology (Enforcement) Rules, 2011, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 53 of the Legal Metrology Act, 2009 (Central Act No. 1 of 2010) was published as required by sub-section (4) of section 53 of the said Act, in the Rajasthan Gazette Extra-Ordinary Part 4 (Ga) Dated 12.06.2025 inviting objections and suggestion from all persons likely to be affected thereby before the expiry of fifteen days from the date on which the copies of this notification as published in Rajasthan Gazette were made available to the public; And whereas, copies of the said notification were made available to the public on 12.06.2025; And whereas, no objection or suggestion received on the said draft rules; Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 53 of the Legal Metrology Act, 2009 (Central Act No. 1 of 2010), the State Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Rajasthan Legal Metrology (Enforcement) Rules, 2011, namely:- Short title and commencement . -(1) These rules may be called the Rajasthan Legal Metrology (Enforcement) (Amendment) Rules, 2025. They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. Amendment of rule 11. -In rule 11 of the Rajasthan Legal Metrology (Enforcement) Rules, 2011,- (i) after the existing sub-rule (2) and before the existing sub-rule (3), the following new sub -rule (2A) shall be inserted, namely:- "(2A) On submission of duly completed appl
