Power to obtain information . — Every designated consumer or manufacturer of equipment or appliance 1 [or any other person or entity covered under this Act shall furnish to the Bureau such information, documents or records relating to energy consumption, and such samples] of any material or substance used in relation to any equipment or appliance, as the Bureau may require.
