The Delhi School Education Rules, 19731 CHAPTER [ PRELIMINARY 1, Short title and commencement _ (1) These rules may be called the Delhi School Education Rules, 1973; (21 They shali come into force on the date of their Publication in the Official Gazette 2. Definitions _ In these rules; unless thc context otherwise requires (a) Act" means the Delhi School Education Act,1973 (18 0f 1973); (b) Affiliating Board" means the concerned Board referred t0 in clause (s) of section 2; (c) "Committee" means the Curriculum Committee, constituted under rule 22; (d) 'Form mcans & Form annexed t0 these rules; (e) %* (0 "Middle stage" meansa stage of school education from classes VIto VIII (both inclusive): "(g) "Nationalised Bank" means the State Bank of India constituted under section 3 of the State Bank of India Act, 1955 (23 of 1955 ) or subsidiary bank constituted under section 3 of the State Bank of India (Subsidiary Banks) Act; 1959 (38 of 1959), or a corresponding new bank constituled under section 3 o the Banking Companies (Acquisition and Transfer Of Undertakings) Act, 1970 (5 of {970) €r corresponding new bank constituted under section 3 of the Banking Companies (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertakings) Act; 1980, (40 of 1980)].
