GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF AGRICULTURE DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURAL RESEARCH AND EDUCATION Central Agricultural University, Imphal (Manipur) ORDINANCE Intphal, the 23rd June, 1994 No. 3 of 1994 No. VC/CAU114(ESTABLIS)/93: -Whereas the Government of India in the Department of Agricultural Research and Education/Indian Council of Agricultural Research (·[CAR) has approved to make an Ordinance regarding the admission to and enrolment of students to7 Master of Science (Agriculture). M.Sc. (Agri.) Course in the Central Agricultural · C · University. Imphal vide letter No. F.1-24(0/0-1C.111/Edn.11 dated the 14th June. 1994. Now, therefore, in exercise . . offthe powers conferred by sub-section (2) read with clause (a) of sub-section (I) of section 27 of the Central Agricultural University Aet, 1992 (40 of 1992), and with the previousr, approval of the Central Government. as aforesaid, I, the Vice-Chancellor of the Central Agricultural University. Imphal. do hereby make this first Ordinance and notify that the admission of students to the 1st year M.Sc.' (Agri.) course in the subjects of Agronomy, Horticulture, Plant , Breeding and Genetics and Plant Pathology in the College of Agriculture, lmphal in 1994-95 academic session shall be limited to three students per subject and that admission to the cours,:,. shall be on the basis of nelit as determined by the percentage of mark on overall Grade Point Average (OGPA) obtained by the student in their Bachelor of Science (Agriculture) B.Sc. (Agri.) examination from a College/University approved by ICAR rant of scholarship. 2. It is further notified that the minimum educational requirements for admission to the said course shall be B.Sc. (Agri.) with minimum OGPA of 3 on 4 point scale or etinivalent thereto as per the formula work
