JTT; 44n #q MINISTRY OF COAL NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 2nd March; 2016 S.O. 645(E). ~In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-clause (b) of sub-section (1) read with sub- section (3) of section 26 of the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulations) Act; 1957 (67 of 1957), the Central Government hereby directs that the powers of the Coal Controller under sub-rule (3), (4), (5) of rule 4, rules 5, 7, 10 and 12 of the Colliery Control Rules, 2004, shall be exercised by the respective State Governments or such officer as authorised by it through notification in respect of all coal mines except the mines or blocks of Central Government Public Sector Undertakings.
