In exercise of the powere conferred by Sections 4? and 42 of the Indian Forest Act 1927 (16 of 1927 read vith the Notification of the Govt. of India in the Min. of Hom Affaire No. 69/49/50-AD dated 7-11-1951 and in supersess on of his Notification No. 42 of 1953, the Chief Commiss nor, Andaman and Nicobar Istando has be n pleased to make the following rules, namely:- These rules may be called the Andaman Forest Produce Ait Rules, 1966. In these rules, unloss there is anything repugnent in the subject or context: (n) 'Forest Produce' moano Forest Produce E.B. defined 1n the Indian Forest Act, 1927 (XVI of 1927). (b) 'Ielands' means Andaman Islands. (c) "Timber" means 'timber' AS defined in the Indian Perest Aot 1927, (XVI of 1927). These rules shall apply to Forost Produce from any 3. sgurce within the Andrean Islands which are portei or moved any of the routes from or within the boundaries of the said iblunds, 4(1) Within the linite of the areen specified in rule 3, no Lerson shall conceal any timbor.
