WHEREAS it is expedient further to ar~end the Madras City Tenants' Protection Act, 1921 ([Tamil Nadull Act I11 of 1922), for the purposes hereinafter appearing ; BE it enacted in the Eleventh Year of the Republic of India as follows :- This Act may be called the Madras City Tenants' Si*;'t title* Protection (Amendment) Act, 1960. 2-8.
