Short title and commencement These regulations may be called Securities and Exchange Board of India (Procedure for Board Meetings) Regulations , 2001 . These regulations shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette . 2 . Definitions In these regulations , unless the context otherwise requires :— (a) “ Act ” means the Securities and Exchange Board of India Act , 1992 (15 of 1992); (b) “ Board ” means the members of the Board as constituted under section 4 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India Act , 1992 (15 of 1992); (c) “ Chairman ” means the Chairman of the Board; (d) “ Memb
