NO. 153-155 SECTOR 34-A, CHANDIGARH ## Page 2 MODEL BYE LAWS OF THE PUNJAB STATE COOPERATIVE MILK PRODUCER'S FEDERATION LIMITED Registered on 01.12.1973 by the Assistant Registrar Cooperative Societies, Ropar of Punjab State under certificate No.191 dated 1.12.73 vide Letter No. 352-54 dated 28.1.91. NAME, ADDRESS & JURISDICTION 1. The name of the Federation shall be the Punjab State Cooperative Milk Producer's Federation Limited, its registered address shall be Ropar at Chandigarh. The area of operation of the Federation shall extend to the whole of the Punjab State. 2. DEFINATION In these Bye laws unless there is anything repugnant in the subject or context:- "ACT" means the Punjab Cooperative Societies Act, 1961. 2.1 "BOARD" means the Board of Directors of the Federation elected as per 2.2 provision of the Punjab Cooperative Societies Act 1961 and the rules framed thereunder and the bye laws of the Federation. "CHAIRMAN" means a member of the Board, who has been elected/nominated 2.3 as a Chairman of the Federation as per the provisions of the Act, Rules framed thereunder and Bye Laws and he should ensure that the policy decisions taken by the Board are implemented and if not such matters will be referred to the Board. "DAIRY PRODUCT" means Milk and allied Milk Products. 2.4 "FEDERATION" means the Punjab State Cooperative Milk Producer's 2.5 Federation Limited. "MILK UNION" means the District Cooperative Milk Producer's Union Limited 2.6 affiliated with the Federation. "MANAGING DIRECTOR" means the Managing Director of the Federation 2.7 appointed by the Board of Directors of the Federation.
