WHEREAS it is expedient to amend the Calcutta University Act, 1966; II of for the purpose and in the manner hereinafter appearing; It is hereby enacted in the Twenty-fourth Year of the Republic of India, by the Legislature of West Bengal, as follows:- This Act may be called the Calcutta University (Amendment) Short title. Act, 1973. In sub-section (1) of section 37 of the Calcutta University Act, 1966, the proviso shall be omitted. Amenment of section 37 of West Ben. Act II of 1966.
