(1) These rules may be called the Food Safety and Standards (Amendment) Rules, 2017. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Food Safety and Standards Rules, 2011, in Chapter 2, in rule 2.1, in sub-rule 2.1.2, in clause 1 relating to qualification, in sub-clause (iii), in item (b), for the words "five years' the words "eight years' shall be su
