1. Del. by sec. 2 (ii) of U. P. Act no. 4 of 1972 ; Enrolment etc. Calling out of Home Guards Powers, privileges and protection of Home Guards Act V of 1861 except in relation to any local area that may be excluded by notification by the State Government in this behalf ; and any officer appointed to administer the Home Guards of any local area so excluded shall exercise in relation to that area the like powers as the Commandant-General exercises in the rest of the State.
