2 . Ins. by sec. 4 of U. P. Act No. 13 of 2004. resignation shall take effect from the date on which it is accepted by the Chairman with the prior approval of the Director ; (b) The State Government may by notification nominate persons from the respective category of members to fill the vacancies of the members who have resigned and the persons so nominated shall hold office for remainder of the term of the Committee. ]
